This restaurant brings a new way to experience Mexican food in Uruguay, from artisanal care in their dishes. In Uruguay there is an environment where traditional Mexican cuisine is not well developed, Kobacán seeks to defend and educate about that rich culinary culture.

The name arises from the conjunction of the Mayan words of earth and snake, according to the robust kobacán profile. In turn, the pronouncement of Kobacán evokes to the word "volcano" that enhances the idea of ​​warmth.
